15mg dose administered as an IV push add-on with our basic hydration bag. Strong anti-inflammatory pain medication ideal for pains including headaches/migraines. Stronger NSAID than ibuprofen but not addictive like an opioid. Usually used short-term in situations causing acute pain.
This medication should not be given to anyone with an allergy or sensitivity to Ketorolac, other NSAIDS, or ASA. Should be avoided in those pregnant/breastfeeding, those with any bleeding disorders, severe liver, kidney, or heart problems, those who have just had surgery or are scheduled for upcoming surgery, known for an ulcer or recurrent ulcers, or those regularly taking other NSAIDs.
